Wife and I in Jackson, Alabama watching our grandsons play Allstar baseball in Jackson. Manna Restaurant was suggested to us and it did not disappoint. Good food and nice atmosphere made for a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
This was my first time eating here. I visited with several of my former classmates. Very quiet, welcoming atmosphere. The young waitress ( I think her name was Becky) was very attentive and pleasant. The food was good. I loved the country feel of the place.
Me and my husband have been here three times. Every single time the service is great and so is the food. The mammoth burger is worth the wait, they have the best country fried steak that I have ever had and their steaks are always perfectly seasoned.
Visiting the area for work from the Northeast and was hoping for a great meal after a long day. The chicken fried steaks with a side of shrimp plus 3 sides saved my entire day lol. Absolutely hands down the best meal I've had in weeks! Well done and thank you.
Best food in Alabama! 10/10 STEAKS!! Service is OUTSTANDING! All of the people are so KIND! This is literally one of my favorite places in the WORLD!!! Suggestion, go on your birthday! If you tell the waitress it is your birthday you will receive a FREE DESSERT! Chocolate chip cookie sundae is WORTH THE WAIT!(maybe tell your waitress earlier, so you don’t have to wait. So long. The atmosphere is very nice. It is a family friendly restaurant. No Alcohol or smoking. It is a very AESTHETICALLY PLEASING place! I would maybe compare it to Cracker Barrel in a way. It is very clean environment. Also, they do take out! When I received my plate, it had a very cute note on it that said, “Jesus loves you... And so do we! Manna. They truly do have a heart for their customers!
They changed up their menu today and it was a change for the better! The food before was awesome but they have kicked it up a notch further. Food is no longer served family style but the portion size is so much you can't eat it all. I had the ribs which were fall off the bone good, by far best ribs I have ever eaten at a restaurant. You could taste the smoke and dry rub on them. My husband had the grilled shrimp which were also amazing seasoned to perfection with just a hint of char which we love. New collards as a side tasted like some your grandma would cook complete with hamhock and a touch of heat. There are still some of the favorites from the previous menu like the corn and salad which I love along with other things. I could have eaten a dozen of their new yeast rolls with the cinnamon honey butter! And as always everyone there was super friendly and service was spectacular!
We've been here a couple of times and the food is good. I've gotten the fish and it's been very good. The staff is very friendly. You order your meat and the sides are brought to the table for the group. It's a little different, but it works really well. The sides are great as well. We definitely recommend this place.
